Senior Data Modeler, Financial Services/FinTech, Boston, MA, NO Remote, 150k to 175k base, bonusPosition SummaryOur client is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to join their growing team. As a Senior Data Modeler, you'll get the opportunity to collaborate across Our client in a dynamic environment. Our client is a global institutional asset manager providing core beta exposures across a range of equity and niche asset classes, including commodities and options, for registered funds, commingled pools and separately managed accounts.Responsibilities:• You will work closely with product teams, data engineering teams, architecture, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.• Using data modeling and collaboration tools, you’ll help design and implement data models for analytical, operational and transactional solutions.• Partner with Architects, Engineers, Analysts and product owners, to design and manage the structure of an organization's data systems to optimize data storage, accessibility, and usability• Develop and collaborate to establish data modeling standards, for analytical, operational and transactions databases• Create logical, conceptual and physical data models for analytical, operational and transactional solutions• Enforce and maintain compliance with data modeling standards across all solutions• Execute knowledge management, thought leadership and innovation activities; act as an advisor and mentor to technical resources providing guidance and motivation• Provide data modeling guidance and coaching to developers and engineers; may act as mentor to technical team members• Collaborate with data governance on cataloging, data related policies, data lineage related activities• Be a subject matter expert for development teams as part of implementation• Document and maintain data modeling artifacts, acts as custodian of the data models, and publish the models for wider use across the organizationQualifications• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer/data science technical or related experience• Strong Domain knowledge / Financial Industry experience required• Hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience, Experience with modeling tools (PowerDesigner or Erwin or ER Studio or others) required, Proficiency with data catalog and data lineage toolset (E.g.
