If you’re a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) passionate about supporting student success, consider this rewarding contract opportunity located near West Chester, PA. This position focuses on serving students in grades K-8, delivering personalized care that fosters growth and mobility. With a consistent part-time schedule of 30 hours per week during school hours (8:30am-2:30pm), you’ll maintain a work-life balance while making a real difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
- Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Proficient in communicating with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining strong documentation and reporting
- Collaborative mindset to partner with educational teams
- Flexibility to adapt interventions for unique student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide compensatory PT services to a caseload of 7 students
- Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based interventions aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the school environment
- Maintain accurate records of progress, session notes, and service delivery
- Consult with families and staff to ensure comprehensive support
- Contribute to team meetings and assist in developing strategies to enhance students' physical access and participation
- Monitor and adjust interventions as needed based on student progress
