How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform rapid triage assessments of patients arriving via EMS and walk-in to determine acuity level and appropriate disposition of care.
• Collaborate with emergency department providers to deliver timely, high-quality emergency medical care.
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire required.
