As a Security Officer Roving Patrol with Active Clearance in Santa Rosa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, sensitive workspaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, hazards, and policy violations through clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
