Lauderdale, FL Duration: 12+ months Key Notes: We need 3 senior Azure Applications Architects with extensive experience in third-party API integration (D365 would be nice but not required. This position is onsite day one in either Jacksonville, FL or Deerfield Beach, FL. The client will also consider candidates that will travel to the client site – there is no set amount of travel, so please let me know how often the candidate is comfortable traveling. **** Candidates must relocate for a day one start onsite in Jacksonville or Deerfield Beach, FL. Job Overview: Experience with D365 API integration is a huge plus but not required. We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Applications Architect with extensive experience in API integrations to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications and interactive prototypes. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in transforming complex business requirements into innovative digital solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API connectivity and application flow. This role requires both deep technical expertise and a strong design-thinking mindset. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and architecture of Azure-based applications and interactive prototypes that serve as blueprints for enterprise software systems. Architect and implement API integration strategies, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across platforms and services. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into functional application prototypes. Build complex Azure RP wireframes and interactive mockups, incorporating logic, variables, and dynamic panels to simulate user workflows and application logic. Analyze existing systems and APIs to recommend and implement improved integration and application design strategies. Document architectural decisions, API specifications, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns. Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards during integration and architecture planning. Support development teams by providing technical guidance and best practices related to application architecture and API integration. Stay current on emerging technologies, particularly in UX prototyping, APIs, and software architecture trends. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in application architecture and API integration. Expert-level proficiency in Azure RP, including advanced prototyping techniques. Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and third-party services. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML). Proficient in collaboration tools and documentation platforms such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Confluence, and Jira. Solid background in SDLC methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices, and DevOps culture. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conceptualize solutions from end to end. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge design with development. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing tools for API performance and security. Previous experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or SaaS where API reliability is mission-critical. InterSources
