PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer of precision dental instruments used by dental professionals worldwide. This company is dedicated to producing high-quality, reliable instruments that support safe and effective patient care.
We are hiring for an Instrument Finisher in Northbrook, IL
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/HR
Instrument Finisher Summary:
- Perform finishing operations including buffing, grinding, shaping, and polishing on hardened dental instruments.
- Inspect instruments for quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications using measuring tools.
- Follow work instructions, technical drawings, and quality standards to ensure product excellence.
- Accurately document work, maintain a safe work environment, and assist with training as skills develop.
Instrument Finisher Requirements:
High School Diploma copy required
- Previous experience working with machines, hand tools, grinding equipment, or finishing machinery preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to read and write basic English, perform basic math, and learn to use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to lift 10-25 lbs., sit for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
