Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Provide telemetry nursing care in intermediate care unit with 37 beds /n• Patient ratios of 1:6 general patients and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients /n• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Perform typical procedures including central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies /n• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital telemetry experience required /n• BLS and ACLS certifications required /n• Prior Meditech experience and NIH certification preferred /n• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills /n• Night shift staffing includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs /n• Located on 3rd floor of Building 4 /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility offering advanced cardiac and telemetry services.
