Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Prior warehouse experience required. At least 6 months to 1 year of recent Cherry Picker or Reach Truck experience. Working knowledge of pallet jacks and RF scanning equipment. Experience operating warehouse material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. Job Duties Pack, seal, and label products accurately and efficiently. Move, sort, kit, load, and unload cartons, orders, pallets, and materials throughout the facility. Load and unload trailers using proper warehouse procedures. Ensure the accurate and efficient use of all warehouse processes. Read and interpret shipment summaries, purchase orders, packing lists, bills of materials, and related documents. Pick and prepare sales orders with greater than 99% accuracy. Receive and stock purchase orders with greater than 99% accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, scrubbing, and keeping work areas orderly. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
