Product Owner

The Product Owner is the leader of the cell, in conjunction with the Tech Lead, who is responsible and accountable for the prioritization and delivery of features. They are responsible for ensuring that the cell is working on the most valuable features, and delivering a product that meets customer needs and business objectives.
Job Description:
• Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, share progress, and adjust priorities as needed
• Break down high-level features into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Review and accept/reject completed user stories during sprint review meetings
• Identify and manage risks that may impact the project's success
• Take ownership of the product's success or failure and be accountable for the outcomes
• Create and maintain product backlog outlining work to be done
• Adapt the backlog and priorities based on market conditions, customer feedback, and business goals
• Establish a clear product vision and communicate effectively to development team and stakeholders
• Foster strong collaboration between development team, stakeholders, and other product team members
• Act as the final authority on feature decisions, clarifications, and priorities during development
Responsibilities:
• Proficiency in creating user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Skill in identifying and mitigating project risks
• Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with development teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for data-driven decisions
• Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing features
• Strong knowledge of market trends and customer needs
• Ability to articulate a clear product vision aligned with business goals
• Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders
• Strong decision-making skills and accountability for outcomes
Skills andExpertise:
• 5 years of relevant work experience, which may include internships, co-op experiences, or entry-level roles in product management, project management, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field business, computer science, and information technology
• Plus, having completed Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
