Warehouse Operator 1 La Vergne, TN Overview The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including incoming material verification, inventory handling, order fulfillment support, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Thisrole requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team setting, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Verify and process incoming materials accurately and efficiently. Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Assist with order fulfillment activities and help resolve fulfillment-related issues. Support inventory accuracy through proper counting, documentation, and material handling practices. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals. Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and productivity expectations. Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, when authorized. Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Skills and Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math and counting skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Preferred Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience. Experience using warehouse management systems such as SAP, QWMS, or LFS. Basic knowledge of electronics. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Occasionally squat and lift boxes weighing up to 65 pounds. Stand, walk, stoop, bend, and move throughout the workday. Work on concrete floors for extended periods. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Work safely around warehouse equipment and machinery. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and environmental conditions.
