We're building the intelligence layer for the home: ambient, proactive, and built into a family of devices, a central hub, accessories, and the software that ties them together. We’re a Series A startup backed by a tier-1 VC, with an ex-unicorn founder. Early team, moving fast.

The Role

You'll own Sedona's brand identity, making everything we ship feel unmistakably us, from the first pixel on the website to the box each device arrives in. You'll set the brand system and bring it to life across the whole ecosystem, working within the product and design direction set by the Head of Design. This is foundational, hands-on brand work spanning web, mobile, device OS, hardware, packaging, merch, and more.

What You'll Do

• Build and evolve Sedona's brand system: type, color, layout, motion, imagery, sound
• Lead brand expression across web, mobile, device OS, packaging, and merch so the experience feels coherent from screen to hand
• Translate Sedona's design direction into a brand language that scales: guidelines, components, and templates enables other team members to move fast without diluting the work

You

• 5+ years of visual / brand design with a portfolio that shows range, craft, and taste
• Proven work across both digital and physical surfaces
• Fluent in brand systems: identity, typography, color, and design tokens that scale
• Can drive brand decisions directly and move without heavy process
• High craft, strong intuition, fast without cutting corners

Nice to Have

• Experience at a hardware or consumer-product company
• Background launching a brand from 0→1
• Comfort with motion, 3D/render tools, or front-end basics

Compensation

Competitive base (Bay Area design benchmarks) + meaningful early stage equity.
