We're looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Area Maintenance Manager to join our growing team as we work to service one of the world's largest online retailers.About the RoleAs an Area Maintenance Manager, you'll be the driving force behind safe, reliable, and efficient material handling operations. You'll lead teams responsible for maintaining high-speed conveyance systems and manufacturing equipment while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.This role blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight. You'll plan and allocate resources, develop talent, improve maintenance processes, and partner closely with client leadership and operations teams to deliver world-class performance. From staffing and performance management to root cause analysis and reliability initiatives, you'll have the authority and support to make a measurable impact.What You'll DoMaintain a safety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same condition in which they reported to work.Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality of work.Lead and coordinate the work of employees engaged in maintaining high-speed conveyance systems and other manufacturing equipment.Assist Managers in communicating and accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.Participate, in conjunction with Manager, interviewing/hiring, employee training, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and/or terminations.Formulate, disseminate, and communicate work standards and/or procedures.Coordinate and lead Root Cause and Corrective Actions to facilitate continuous improvement and development opportunities.Provide performance management for team development and growth.Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.What You'll NeedBachelor's (BA/BS) degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) required.4+ years of compatible industry experience and/or training and demonstrated ability leading and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing environment.2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing environment.Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, as well as financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.Proficient Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and/or schematics.Understanding predictive maintenance technologies such as (thermography, vibration analysis, and air borne ultra-sound).Proven knowledge of using maintenance systems to achieve world class equipment maintenance.Ability to travel 25% off-site as needed.Physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.CBRE Employee BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, visionDisability benefit program401k company matchingPaid time off and holidaysCompany paid life insurancePet insurancePaid parental leaveWhy CBRE?We invest in our employees' development.
