Unit Overview

• Number of Beds: 29 private rooms
• Number of Current Staff: 18
• Staff Types: Respiratory Therapists, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Throughput Manager, Case Manager, Rehabilitation Specialists, Directors/Managers, Ancillary Staff
• Day Shift Staffing:

  • 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
  • 1 Unit Clerk (UC)
  • 7 Registered Nurses (RNs)

Qualifications

Required Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Skills

• NIH Stroke Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Typical Procedures

• Care for high fall-risk patient populations
• Respiratory and cardiac assessments
