Paid maternity and paternity leave is available after 90 days.Retirement contributions from CHP — Our 403(b) retirement plan includes a 3% company contribution whether you contribute or not, plus an additional match of up to 2% — for up to 5% total employer contribution.To learn more about CHP's employee benefits, please click this link You'll DoDiagnose and complete routine and moderately complex repairs across building systemsRespond to resident service requests in a timely and professional mannerPerform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspectionsMaintain the appearance and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areasComplete apartment turnovers within established timelinesParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issuesAssist with vendor and contractor coordination as neededMaintain accurate work order documentation using mobile maintenance softwareFollow all safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policiesWhat You'll BringExperience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience required.Technical Skills: Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs, and use of maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and mobile work order systems.Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.Independence: Ability to work independently, prioritize work orders, and manage multiple tasks effectively.Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent resident service.Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent and relevant trade training or certifications preferred.Make a Difference Every Day!At CHP, your work helps create safe, quality homes for individuals and families across our communities.
