Redesigns QA Lead

The QA Lead will be responsible for leading all testing activities related to design system enhancements, guided user experiences, defect resolution, platform upgrades, software maintenance, and other application improvements. The role is responsible for ensuring the quality of software deliverables throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by planning, coordinating, executing, and overseeing testing efforts. Key responsibilities include reviewing requirements for completeness and testability, preparing comprehensive test plans, assigning and tracking QA tasks, developing and executing test cases, analyzing and reporting test results, and mentoring QA team members on testing methodologies, tools, and organizational standards. Mandatory Skills & Experience Note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory qualifications below will not be considered. Minimum 8 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience, including at least 5 years in a QA Lead role supporting complex enterprise applications. Proven experience testing public‑facing web applications. Hands‑on experience using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Micro Focus Quality Center (QC/ALM) to manage test planning, execution, and defect tracking. Azure DevOps experience is highly preferred. Experience with UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java. Strong experience creating and maintaining requirements traceability by mapping business and technical requirements to test cases. Ability to validate technical requirements involving real‑time and batch integration between system components. Solid understanding of the differences between testing web‑based (HTML) applications and desktop (thick client) applications. Working knowledge of API/Web Services testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI. Understanding of common data exchange formats including CSV, XML, and JSON and their use in application integration and testing. Familiarity with performance testing concepts, methodologies, and supporting tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and drive assignments through completion. Experience supporting executive leadership by participating in project planning, strategic initiatives, and providing testing recommendations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues. Ability to clearly document investigation findings, testing activities, and issue resolution steps. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Self‑motivated, proactive, and confident in making informed decisions while working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
