Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

Goal: To provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of Region 14 ESC.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to operate multi-line phone system
• Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• 2-3 years related office experience

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
• Greet and direct visitors to Region 14 ESC.
• Assist district personnel, students, general public and staff as needed.
• Provide secretarial assistance to business and administrative offices as needed.
• Prepares all documents required for program operations such as purchase orders, applications, amendments, and letters as needed.
• Assists school administrations, customers and Region 14 staff with setting up PITStop users.
• Provides tech support for all PITStop issues to school administrations, customers and Region 14 staff.
• Assist Professional Development Assistant with tech support for PITStop, session problems, changes to sessions and problems with participant registration and session management.
• Assists HR Coordinator with efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with QMS.
• Maintains job related confidentiality.
• Demonstrates cooperation, consideration, and professional courtesy with clients and staff members.
• Maintains program webpages, including updating as needed.
• Follows established policies and administrative procedures.
• Exhibits flexibility by adjusting to change.
• Maintains an organized work area.
• Adheres to work schedules and attendance policies.
• Presents a personal appearance appropriate for the work situation.
