We are looking for a Warranty & Quality Control Manager to help strengthen our processes after project completion while also supporting quality control throughout construction.

Position Overview

The Warranty & Quality Control Manager will serve as a key resource for managing warranty-related items and ensuring that our projects meet Collage's quality standards from construction through turnover and beyond.

This position will coordinate warranty requests, work with project teams and subcontractors to resolve issues efficiently, and help identify opportunities to improve quality during construction. The role will also support field teams with quality-control initiatives, including building envelope, roofing, pre-activity planning and conferences, inspections, and other critical construction activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial construction experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, owners, architects, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Warranty Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for warranty-related issues following project completion.
• Receive, document, track, and coordinate warranty requests from owners and facility representatives.
• Work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to determine the cause and appropriate resolution of warranty issues.
• Coordinate subcontractor response and completion of warranty work within required timeframes.
• Conduct site visits to investigate warranty concerns and verify completed repairs.
• Maintain accurate warranty records, documentation, photographs, and status reports.
• Identify recurring warranty issues and communicate trends to project teams and leadership.
• Help improve Collage's warranty procedures, documentation, and closeout processes.
• Assist with final project turnover and ensure warranty information is properly documented and communicated to owners.

Quality Control

• Support project teams in implementing and maintaining quality-control practices throughout construction.
• Participate in and/or facilitate pre-activity conferences for critical scopes of work.
• Assist with quality planning for building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, concrete, exterior systems, and other critical construction activities.
• Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and details to identify potential quality concerns before work begins.
• Conduct field observations and inspections to verify work is being performed in accordance with contract documents and Collage standards.
• Work with Superintendents and Project Managers to identify potential issues early and develop corrective actions.
• Assist in documenting quality-control observations, deficiencies, corrective actions, and resolutions.
• Help develop and improve quality-control checklists, procedures, and best practices.
• Share lessons learned from completed projects with current project teams.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Build strong working relationships with field personnel, project management teams, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.
• Provide guidance and support rather than simply identifying deficiencies.
• Help establish consistent quality expectations across Collage projects.
• Identify opportunities to reduce callbacks, rework, warranty claims, and construction defects.
• Participate in project and leadership meetings as needed.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience , preferably with a general contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial building construction and construction sequencing.
• Experience with building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, or other building systems is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with warranty, punch list, closeout, quality control, or field operations is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and warranty items simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in the field and traveling to project sites as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

The right person for this role is proactive, practical, and construction-minded . This is not simply an administrative warranty position. We are looking for someone who understands how commercial buildings are constructed, can recognize potential problems in the field, and can work with our teams and trade partners to prevent issues before they become warranty claims.

A successful candidate will be comfortable moving between field quality control, project support, and post-completion warranty management and will help Collage continuously improve the way we build.
