The Software Support Analyst Manager is a leadership role responsible for delivering high‑quality customer service and operational excellence within the Northwest Regional Data Center. This position sets long‑term goals, plans staffing needs, and oversees the entire lifecycle of client issue resolution—from identification and tracking to training and final reporting. By establishing rigorous quality standards and providing technical guidance on school information systems, the manager ensures that customer needs are met efficiently. The role also engages heavily in strategic planning, manages software conversion projects, and handles the full spectrum of personnel management—including hiring, training, and performance evaluation—to foster a productive and responsive support team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Five or more years of progressively responsible professional experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities. WA State Patrol background clearance required. Employment Conditions and Benefits Work is performed in an office environment, with approximately 50 percent of the time spent at various school district locations. Routine travel to local school districts, workshops, and conferences is required. The role involves sitting or standing for extended periods at a computer and lifting or carrying a maximum of 15 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech, and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions. The position is telecommute‑eligible per Policy 5225.
