Get rewarded for your hard work with competitive pay and exciting bonus opportunities!Summary: Responsible for building pallets and loading draft, bulk, service, on premise routes in an efficient and accurate manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Build pallets and load draft, bulk, service and on premise routes in an efficient and accurate manner.Remove packaged beer returned on route trucks and place product in proper location.Certify ending inventories from draught and/or package trucks and notify shift supervisor of any shortages, overages or discrepanciesFollow warehouse check-in procedure regarding the labeling of close and out-of-code productRepack damaged product according to A-B guidelines before end of each shiftBuild Sam's orders when neededUnload transports when necessaryAdditional Duties:Wipe down and perform crown safety inspection daily, fill-out and give checklist to supervisorProperly use the shrink wrap machine when necessaryPerform housekeeping tasks assigned by shift supervisionAttend all required company meetingsAdditional duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following:Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company's attendance policiesAbility to understand and follow directionsAbility to follow instructions and accept direction from supervisorsAbility to read and understand code dates and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to fill out work orders and other correspondenceMust obtain Pallet Jack training and certificationAbility to operate crown forklift and drive company vehicles and tractor trailers safely on company propertyMust have product knowledge and mathematical abilities to build palletsAbility to complete tasks without constant supervisionAbility to lift and control 171-pound kegMust follow all company policies and procedures, must comply with State beverage regulations and Great Bay's safety programCompliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelinesCustomer Service Skills: Ability to relate well with co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must constantly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 171 pounds.The employee must occasionally pull and/or push up to 1,500 pounds on a loaded 2/4 wheel hand truck on uneven surfaces and up delivery ramps.The employee will regularly operate a forklift in the performance of duties and is required to use company equipment in a safe manner.Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold in coolers.
