Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Victoria, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-Call 7 days every other week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients during designated time frames
• Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, appropriate environment and instrumentation, and collaboration with the health care team
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-bed unit
• Participate in on-call rotation (7 days on call every other week)
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MEDHOST and/or MACLAB electronic medical record systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
