Operations Manager Team Lead

The Operations Manager is responsible for our client's Operations team managing a large web application hosting environment in Central Pennsylvania. The hosting environment comprises 4000+ Wintel servers and 800+ Web-facing applications and continues to grow. It is widely recognized for its innovative use of the latest technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, and other leading IT companies. The areas of expertise for the manager include Windows Administration, Active Directory and IIS/SQL.

Responsibilities involve the following:

• Work with the client and vendors to support applications in the data center.
• Provide guidance and management of infrastructure services.
• Active Directory
• PKI
• DNS
• Patch Management
• Availability and Performance Monitoring
• Responsible for maintaining documentation and enforcement for the following:
• Compliance Management
• Inventory Management
• Standard Operating Procedures

The core qualifications are:

• Supervisor/Management Experience
• Excellent Windows Administration
• Strong Active Directory Administration
• Strong IIS Administration
• MCSE or MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification
• Mobile Phone/Laptop: Required for infrequent after-hours support and escalations

Experience/Equivalent Knowledge in the Following Areas is Advantageous:

• Citrix
• Unix/Linux Administration
• VMWare ESX
• Microsoft PKI
• Microsoft SCOM
• Microsoft SCCM
• Remedy/ServiceNow
