The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all divisions within the department, with a strong emphasis on advancing patient care, education, and research. The role involves close partnership with health system executives, hospital leaders, and faculty to drive growth, enhance educational programs, and expand research initiatives, all while aligning departmental priorities with the broader strategic vision of the organization. Candidates for the Chair of Medicine position at the company should be broadly respected physician leaders with a strong academic background and exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have an MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree, board certification in Internal Medicine or a related subspecialty, and eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
