Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting customized treatment strategies.
• Implement physical therapy techniques centered on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality.
• Engage in collaboration with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
• Take part in multidisciplinary care team meetings and conferences to ensure seamless care for all patients.

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification is preferred.
