Assembly Technician

Pay Rate Low: 22 | Pay Rate High: 26

We are seeking a Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team supporting the production of high-quality medical devices. This is a great opportunity for someone with medical device, cleanroom, manufacturing, or small component assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and attention-to-detail focused environments.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $22-$26/hr (Flexibility for Medical Device experience)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (4/10 schedule) + OT opportunities Fridays

Contract: 6 months with potential contract-to-hire


Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices using small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Perform detailed assembly of small components while following manufacturing procedures and SOPs.
• Complete in-process quality inspections and communicate any quality or process concerns.
• Review and follow GMP/GDP documentation practices and maintain accurate production records.
• Work within a controlled cleanroom environment while following gowning and safety procedures.
• Identify defective materials, sub-assemblies, or process issues and escalate appropriately.
• Support troubleshooting efforts with supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow manufacturing methods, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
• May train other production employees after certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or small component experience.
• Experience working with small parts, adhesives, microscopes, or precision tools preferred.
• Cleanroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and basic documentation.
• Comfortable working with electronic systems and production records.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Environment

• Cleanroom manufacturing environment (Class 8).
• Full gowning required.
• Work involves small components, precision assembly, and detailed inspection.
