Pay Rate: $44 TO $48 per Hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST
Experience: Speech and Language Pathology experience preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist for an on-site contract opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing communication, mealtime, and swallowing services in Middle Tennessee Homes and an IDD Medically Fragile Foster Home.
Responsibilities
Provide consultation-based communication and swallowing services for adults with IDD
Provide intensive communication and swallowing services for children in medically fragile foster care
Complete annual assessments related to swallowing, choking risk, and communication needs
Recommend individualized support plan action steps and assist with communication devices or environmental control units
Provide staff training, onboarding support, monthly and quarterly monitoring, and treatment recommendations as needed
Requirements
Active Speech and Language Pathologist License Required
Experience with communication, swallowing, mealtime support, or choking risk assessment preferred
Ability to work with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities required
Strong interdisciplinary communication, documentation, patient/family education, and collaboration skills required
Education and employment verification required upon selection
