Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Seymour, Indiana

A Per Diem pharmacist opportunity is available for qualified candidates to provide essential services in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy setting. This position requires expertise with Liberty RX software and offers a structured schedule with no holidays or weekend shifts during the assignment in June.


Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
• Dates of assignment: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications and prescription orders for patient pickup or delivery.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering equipment and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and compliance with controlled substance regulations.
• Verify prescription accuracy in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Maintain records, including inventory logs, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Provide telepharmacy support as needed.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy presentation and customer service standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager on operational needs.
• Adhere strictly to state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacist license (verified).
• Immunization license.
• Proficient with Liberty RX pharmacy software.
• Submission of resume, skills checklist, and references is required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
