Job Title: Warehouse Associate Immediate Hire & Start

Location: Totowa, NJ

Pay: $19 - $20

Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift

This role operates material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods throughout a warehouse and food production facility. You will pull materials using work orders, deliver them to production lines, stage completed pallets for shipping, and return unused materials to inventory locations. You help maintain accurate inventory by verifying product information and recording all material movements in the system, while supporting a fast-paced, wellness-focused food manufacturing operation.

• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to safely move materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production floor.
• Use work orders to collect and pull required materials from inventory locations and deliver them to designated machines or production lines.
• Stage completed pallets of finished goods in the appropriate staging or shipping areas according to shipping schedules and instructions.
• Return unused or excess materials from production lines back to designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
• Verify product information, including item codes, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities, to maintain inventory accuracy and product traceability.
• Document all inventory movements in the warehouse management or inventory system using RF scanners or RF scan guns.
• Perform order picking activities, including selecting, scanning, and preparing items for production or shipment.
• Pack food products on an assembly line, following established procedures and quality standards.
• Label packages with accurate weight, product information, lot codes, and expiration dates as required.
• Inspect products and packaging for defects and pull defective products from the line to maintain quality standards.
• Stock workstations and production areas with necessary materials, packaging supplies, and components to support continuous operations.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of forklift or warehouse manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or food packaging environment.
• Sit-down and stand-up equipment such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with production environments where wellness, sustainability, and quality ingredients are a focus.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with moderate noise and temperature conditions.
• Ability to follow written work orders and standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
