By bringing together several of the top home health agencies in the state, we have become one of New York's leading providers with strategically placed offices that serve thousands of clients every day.Location: Newburgh, NY (on-site)Description: Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to work with our coordination team. This team's primary responsibility is to work directly with our caregivers to ensure they are providing our clients with the compassionate care our clients deserve. Coordinators focus on delivery of care through scheduling and continuous communication with our PCA/HHA Division.***The position is based on-site at our Newburgh office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri shifts).Responsibilities:Oversee client schedules/ensure staffing and coverage for assigned caseloadCollaborate with recruitment department regarding hiring HHA/PCAs from difficult to serve geographical areas.Documents and reports to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in aide assigned to case, incidents, and complaints.Communicate all relevant information to nurses and clients.Monitors and follows up with clients and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.Participation in on-call rotation (weekdays/weekend).Qualifications:Experience in a fast paced medical office/healthcare settingExperience with scheduling/utilizing scheduling and/or EMR systemsWorking knowledge of NYS DOH Home Care operations preferred.Excellent organizational and time-management skillsExperience in a home care setting strongly preferredGreat communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail with problem solving skillsStrong customer service backgroundBenefits:PTO401(k)Health InsuranceDental/Vision coverageAflacAlways Compassionate Home Care provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, age, disability (physical or mental), family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or any other non-merit based factors protected federal, state, or local law.
