Job Description\n Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a MRI Technologist for a job in New Braunfels, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: Ongoing\n Employment Type: Staff\n \n \n This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.\n The MRI Tech performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. The MRI Tech produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.\n MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI\n PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate degree in Allied Health or Bachelor’s Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field\n MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience.Possesses working knowledge of cross section anatomy and MR pathology.\n PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in MRI\n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or (ARMRIT) registry eligible according to ACR guidelines. Must be registered as a MR Technologist within one year post graduation of accredited school.
