Overview

The Salvation Army’s Lowell is hiring a Driver and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location : 150 Appleton Street, Lowell, MA

Pay Range : $18 - $20 per hour

Driving families/children involved in Corps programs and ministries in a safe manner to/from various locations. Must provide this service in a compassionate and professional manner.

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal & organizational Skills
• Must be 21+ years old

QUALIFICATIONS

• a) Transport families/children to and from various location
• b) Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and secure
• c) Ensure safety checks prior to and following use of the vehicle
• d) Report safety or mechanical needs to the Corps Officer(s)
• e) Report all accidents and vehicle maintenance issues to the Corps Officer(s) immediately
• f) Operate vehicle according to all state/federal laws and in accordance to The Salvation Army policies and procedures
• g) Remain up to date with KeepSAfe training
• h) Perform other related duties within the scope of the position
