Radiology Technologist

Radiology Technician Choice Care Surgery Center is hiring a Radiology Technician. We have 3 OR rooms, 2 treatment rooms, and 2 cath labs. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, and Urology. Position details: Weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or on‑call. Some early mornings and late evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing high‑quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety‑conscious, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform intraoperative and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high‑quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and exposure monitoring. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies. Assist in quality control and routine maintenance of imaging equipment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. AAR-Registered and CPR current. Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations. Must possess independent decision‑making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
