Desktop Support Technician

Braided Technologies is a managed IT services provider based in Haverhill, MA, supporting organizations across New England. We're hiring a full-time Onsite IT Support Technician dedicated to one of our client sites a nonprofit human services organization in Manchester, NH.You'll be a Braided employee working onsite at the client's offices five days a week, with our remote engineering team behind you on every ticket. This is a hands-on, people-facing role right for someone who likes solving problems in person rather than over the phone all day.What you'll doDesk-side and end-user support for staff at the client siteHardware setup and troubleshooting: workstations, printers, peripheralsAsset deployment, recovery, and inventory trackingHands-on support for onboarding and offboarding (equipment, accounts, workspace setup)Meeting room and AV setupHands-on assistance with desk phones and related equipment, coordinating with the client's vendorsEscalate complex issues to Braided's remote engineering team and see them throughWhat we're looking forRoughly 1+ years in a helpdesk, desktop support, or similar IT support role (or strong equivalent experience we care more about aptitude and reliability than credentials)Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365Clear, patient communication with non-technical staffValid driver's license and reliable transportation occasional travel between client locations, with mileage reimbursedAbility to pass a background check, including screenings required by the client's regulatory environmentWhat you get$1823/hour depending on experience, paid semi-monthlyCompany-supported health coverage for full-time 40-hour schedules401(k) with company safe harbor contributionPaid time off plus 12 company holidays and 2 floating holidaysMileage reimbursement for work travelA team behind you you're never the last line of supportAbout this roleThis position supports a dedicated client engagement.
