Why you’ll love working here: same day pay available free TARC passes for easy commuting discount Verizon mobile plan uniforms provided educational support and career advancement opportunities competitive benefits package fun, team-oriented work environment that encourages interaction and engagement with our residents What you’ll do: assist and oversee kitchen operations serve as the point of contact for employee needs & staffing during scheduled shifts. communicate appropriately to management on status of dining areas & staffing. lead dietary aides and oversee daily meal service for residents in assigned dining areas manage the tray line process, ensuring meals are served accurately, on time, and according to residents’ dietary needs perform regular quality control checks to confirm portion sizes, food temperatures, and presentation meet standards ensure resident preferences, diets, and hospitality expectations are consistently honored train and support dietary staff on sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures serve as the point of contact for staffing and team needs during your shift make sure all food items are labeled, dated, and discarded according to policy perform various quality assurance checks throughout shift to ensure resident meals are being served according to dietary needs and health regulations inspect kitchen, storage, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance communicate operational updates and improvement opportunities to the Dietary director and leadership team support department closing duties—verifying cleaning is complete, equipment is secured, and all areas are ready for the next shift lead by example, fostering teamwork and a positive, resident-focused environment What you’ll bring: 2+ years of experience in food service leadership or senior living dining roles strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills ability to perform quality assurance checks and maintain high standards of service and safety critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail ability to lift/move 25 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule high school diploma or GED required; continuing education in hospitality, nutrition, or management preferred About Masonic Homes Kentucky Masonic Homes Kentucky is a leader in senior living and health services, offering compassionate care and innovative programs that make a difference every day.
