Industrial Painter

Summary:
- Shift: 2nd, 2PM-10:30PM
- Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products onto the paint conveyor.
- Ensure proper part flow, sequence, and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements.
- Hang parts and kits on paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department.
- Operate lift and burn-off oven.
- Set-up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment.
- Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
- Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment that promotes the company's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
- General knowledge of company Quality Management System (EQMS).
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
- Minimum 3 months of experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to perform the functions of the job.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic shop math.
- Requires frequent standing and bending.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift 35-50 pounds.
- Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
- Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
