Social Worker (LCSW) Pediatric Neurology - Days, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Morristown, NJ. Job Description Responsibilities Provides psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs, makes appropriate referrals, provides counseling and supportive services to patients/families, makes referrals to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Identifies and maintains funding sources that support the Family Counseling & Guidance Program. Maintains statistical information and analysis of data, develops outcome measures for program evaluation, program development, and facilitation of program. Competencies Maintains current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and health care informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology. Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be trained in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) or be willing to obtain certification within the first year of employment. Qualifications Required: MSW from an accredited school of social work. NJ LCSW required. Previous social work experience in pediatric neurology strongly preferred. Preferred: Maintains current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology. Demonstrated initiative, problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
