Job Opportunity – Pediatric Registered Nurse – Colorado

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36-bed pediatric step-down unit with private rooms

Highlights:

• Pediatric step-down unit with mixed acuity: spinal fusions, chest tubes, high flow oxygen, and general pediatric care
• Patient ratios of 1:3 for step-down patients and 1:4 for basic care patients
• Meditech EMR system with Phillips monitoring equipment
• Flexible scheduling with equal consideration given to travelers and permanent staff
• On-site parking included at no charge, with direct bridge access to the unit
• Supportive team environment with charge nurse resources and clinical nurse coordinators available

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric RN experience (required)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Demonstrated competency with high flow oxygen, spinal fusion care, and chest tube management
• Experience with NGT, Foley catheter, and PIV placement; phlebotomy skills
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Multiple years of travel nursing experience strongly preferred
