About the Role

We are building a high-growth consumer debt management services company headquartered in Texas with the objective of expanding nationally. We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Director of Consumer Debt Management Operations who knows how to take an early-stage consumer financial services operation and build a functioning, revenue-producing organization.

This is not a maintenance management position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can walk into an operation that needs structure, develop sales and customer-service systems, recruit and train the right people, establish performance standards, improve marketing and lead conversion, and help management build a scalable nationwide platform.

The 60-Day Challenge

Within your first 60 days, you will establish the foundation for a functioning sales and operations organization, including:

• Developing and implementing a consumer acquisition and sales strategy.
• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified sales representatives.
• Establishing sales training, onboarding programs, sales scripts, objection-handling procedures, and closing processes.
• Setting daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs and building a structured sales pipeline with clear lead follow-up standards.
• Establishing customer service, client onboarding, documentation processing, quality control, and communication procedures.
• Collaborating with management to improve lead generation, marketing campaigns, and conversion rates.
• Implementing CRM sales-management processes, management reports, and employee performance dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership & Management

• Build a disciplined sales organization capable of consistently converting qualified consumer prospects into clients.
• Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives while creating ongoing sales development programs.
• Conduct call monitoring, role-playing, and coaching sessions to improve appointment setting and closing ratios.
• Establish daily activity standards, individual and team sales goals, and lead follow-up procedures.
• Identify and correct sales bottlenecks while building a culture based on accountability, ethics, and measurable results.

2. Marketing & Lead Generation Management

• Evaluate existing marketing strategies to build a more efficient customer-acquisition engine.
• Oversee and optimize customer acquisition funnels, including digital marketing, paid advertising (Google/Social), landing pages, CRM systems, email/SMS follow-up, and call-center lead routing.
• Track conversion rates from initial lead through enrollment and analyze marketing performance metrics.

3. Customer Service & Processing Operations

• Establish a professional client experience from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing service.
• Create documentation checklists, customer-service standards, escalation procedures, and written SOPs for critical operational functions.
• Implement quality-control processes to monitor customer satisfaction, improve retention, and reduce complaints or cancellations.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment between sales, processing, and customer service teams.

4. Organizational Development

• Help design the organizational structure needed to scale into a nationwide platform.
• Implement workforce planning, compensation structures, performance management systems, and departmental accountability frameworks.

Key Milestones & Growth Timeline

• First 30 Days: Evaluate existing personnel, sales/marketing systems, and CRM processes. Build initial sales-training modules, set preliminary KPIs, begin recruiting, and deliver a 90-day growth and operating plan to management.
• Days 31–60: Onboard new sales personnel, launch daily sales-management cadences, roll out customer service/processing procedures, implement reporting dashboards, and begin driving measurable revenue.
• First 90–180 Days: Establish a fully predictable customer acquisition and retention engine, optimize lead-to-client conversion, scale the sales team, and prepare the operational foundation for expansion into additional states.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record managing, scaling, and driving revenue in a consumer-facing sales organization.
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and retain top sales talent.
• Deep understanding of sales funnels, CRM management systems, lead conversion, and performance metrics/KPIs.
• Strong operational background with experience creating systems, SOPs, customer service standards, and accountability procedures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ownership mentality suited for a fast-paced growth environment.
• Must be willing to work on-site at our Dallas, Texas office.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with direct operational or sales leadership experience in any of the following areas will receive strong consideration:

• Debt Management Plans, Debt Settlement, Credit Counseling, or Credit Restoration.
• CFPB/FTC-regulated consumer financial products or services.
• High-volume call-center operations, consumer lending, or financial services sales.

• Starting Base Salary: $100,000 per year
