Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Adult Emergency Department at a major metropolitan facility in Gainesville, Florida. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting on June 29, 2026, with full-time nights shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves working in a high-volume Emergency Department environment with a focus on trauma care, and flexibility regarding scheduling is essential.

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience, with the last 12 months including at least one assignment at an academic medical center or a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area. Must have recent experience working in a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility. Valid Florida or Compact RN license. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC). A minimum of 1 year of travel experience and recent EPIC electronic medical records experience are required. All candidates must provide at least one reference dated within the last 12 months.
• Additional Requirements: Successful passing of a specialty basic test and an Electrocardiogram (EKG) test with a score of at least 80%. All lethal rhythms must be identified correctlyfailure results in remedial training. No work history gaps exceeding 30 days without explanation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred but not required.
• Schedule: Nights, 1900 - 0730, 36 hours per week, with holidays and weekends required.
• Additional Information: Must be flexible; unplanned time off will result in contract cancellation. No block scheduling allowed. All new RN starts require passing specialty and EKG tests. Pre-start unit manager interviews will be conducted. Processing time for credentialing may take up to 14 business days. No Request for Time Off (RTO) is allowed in the first two weeks; a maximum of 10 days RTO is permitted for the entire 13-week period.
