Wellpoint Care Network has championed the restoration of families for nearly 175 years.Job Purpose:The Data Management Specialist will manage and troubleshoot vendor contract database for accurate as well as timely documentation and reimbursement. As well as develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related degree required Minimum of five (5) years of child welfare experience required.Experience or familiarity with child welfare and eWiSACWIS required.Experience with custom application service providers, such as CoBRIS, Avi Networks, Qwest, etc.Experience with project management and information trackingExperience with Microsoft Office productsAbility to type 40-50 words per minute with 95% accuracy.Able to organize and track information in a systematic method.Demonstrate a strong awareness of and respect for different perspectives, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and respectfully with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.Demonstrate organizational skills, manage multiple priorities and able to respond quickly and courteously.Ability to maintain confidentiality when reading, typing, or hearing matters pertaining to clients.Strong customer service skillsProficient in the usage of computer software; demonstrate an understanding of computer file systems and computer software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP, etc.Must be honest, dependable and able to meet deadlines; Self-motivated and able to work independently.Physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background checks are required for this position.Required or reliable transportation to conduct on-site learning throughout the state.Job Responsibilities:Vendor ManagementOversee CoBRIS (or designated management tool) regarding troubleshooting and collaborating with service providers, staff, and leaders to ensure accurate, thorough and timely documentation for payments.Ensure accuracy of new/existing providers profiles. Regular updates regarding provider (vendor staff) access in CoBRIS and updating user account rosters accordingly.Track and manage service provider agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs).Manage data entry for Discretionary Service Forms (DSFs) and MOUs for proper payment to vendors.Train agencies/providers on how to use data system and as new features are implementedLiaison between FivePoints, internal staff and vendors around CoBRIS errors coordinate investigative work around root causesIn collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, inform CoBRIS Purchase of Service program improvements for review and potential incorporation into application updatesAct as an intermediary between vendors and staff to ensure that service data is entered as required and in a timely fashion with necessary detailDevelop and maintain positive and respectful working relationships with vendorsInformation Management & DataData entry and management of new and existing Child & Family Well-being Program stakeholders into CoBRIS (or designated management tools).Responsible for maintenance of current insurance coverage for vendors in the systemAssist with vendor auditing analysis – verify amount paid, obtain reports on vendor history for verificationFor auditing purposes, monitor amount paid to network providersData entry into database for child welfare expenses (credit card purchases, bus tickets DSFs)Review/Monitor Eligibility of MedicaidTrain new case managers and leaders in data systemRecord and maintain training videos for staff on the Purchase of Service program within CoBRISAssist in annual renewal of network service agreementAssist in development and testing of databases updates and upgradesDevelop and utilize measurement tools and instruments for use in program assessment or data collection.Initiate, maintain, and monitor tracking systems to increase compliance within program expectations.Research and implement appropriate means of manipulating data in CoBRIS to circumvent functionality issues in the Purchase of Service programEnsure reports are provided to appropriate program staff within determined timeframes.Self-ManagementOrganize time effectively, maximizes use of available resources, successfully balances the competing demands of multiple projects by setting priorities and communication and meeting deadlines, asks for help when necessary.Prior to approved time off, coordinate and verify that all responsibilities needing to be conducted during absence are covered by appropriate colleagues.Demonstrate adaptability, recover quickly when progress is stalled by obstacles; respond with flexibility and resilience when faced with multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change.Take initiative, act quickly and independently when the situation demands it; see a need and takes appropriate action without being prompted or reminded; demonstrate ability to effectively deal with crisis situations.Exhibit critical thinking skills when faced with an issueDemonstrate professionalism in all interactionsRegularly collaborate with child welfare colleagues to best meet the needs of the families we serve.Show flexibility in responding to change and contributes to team goals/requests.Willingly takes on new job responsibilities.Practice ValuesDemonstrate the ability to function independently and in a team, while being supportive of the program and Agency's mission and goals.Demonstrate a desire to continue professional developmentProactive and solution-focusedExhibit professionalism in all aspects of the position; adhere to Agency's code of conduct and DMCPS expectations, policies, and state safety standards.Present and weigh alternatives before making decisions and seek consultation when appropriate.Accept direction and supervision in a positive manner and independently recognize the need for consultation.Communicate effectively and with high quality through verbal, non-verbal, and written communication with accurate and relevant information in a timely manner.Organizational Information:We believe there is a better way.
