Position Title: Breakfast Attendant
Department: Operations / Food & Beverage
Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager
Status: Part-Time

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the hotel's complimentary breakfast while providing exceptional guest service. This position ensures that the breakfast area remains clean, well-stocked, organized, and in compliance with hotel and brand standards.

Breakfast Service

• Set up the breakfast buffet according to hotel standards before service begins.
• Prepare and replenish food and beverage items throughout the breakfast shift.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, appearance, and portion levels.
• Ensure all breakfast items are displayed attractively and safely.

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and questions.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the breakfast area.
• Address guest concerns and notify management of any issues requiring follow-up.

• Keep the breakfast area, lobby seating, beverage stations, and serving areas clean and organized.
• Remove used dishes and wipe down tables throughout service.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, counters, and equipment.
• Complete end-of-shift cleaning duties and closing procedures.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain required logs as directed.
• Properly store, rotate, and label food products.
• Comply with health department regulations and hotel policies.

• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
• Restock breakfast items, disposable products, and condiments.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries when needed.

• Assist with light housekeeping of public areas as assigned.
• Support other departments during busy periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Current food handler's certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and pushing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Part-time position.
• Sunday mornings from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Flexible availability required based on business needs.

• Consistently maintain breakfast presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Deliver friendly and attentive guest service.
• Follow food safety procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and professionalism.
