Lead Business Intelligence Engineer

Salary: $112,008 - 132,808 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Skills and experience in business intelligence, data analysis, healthcare analytics, and quality reporting, including HEDIS, pharmacy, and medical claims
• Proficiency with Power BI, including dashboards, visualizations, and semantic models
• Experience with SQL, DAX, data modeling, dimensional modeling, star schemas, query optimization, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, enterprise data platforms, and data warehouses
• Analytical, quantitative, statistical, and root-cause analysis skills
• Strong communication, business analysis, decision-making, and project management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for healthcare quality, HEDIS, pharmacy, and medical claims initiatives
• Extend existing analytics products and build scalable reporting solutions from stakeholder requirements
• Develop and optimize DAX, SQL, and data models
• Work with data engineering teams to use Snowflake and other enterprise data sources
• Support testing, deployments, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements
• Provide technical leadership, review code, and guide team members on best practices
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable reporting and analytics solutions on schedule while minimizing rework through strong requirements analysis and solution design

We are seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer for an immediate contract opportunity with an enterprise healthcare client. The role is remote, with standard work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and pays $53.85–$63.85 per hour. You will join a collaborative Reporting & Analytics team supporting healthcare quality, HEDIS, pharmacy, medical claims, and operational performance initiatives. The team is expanding delivery capacity across active Power BI and analytics work, including reporting modernization, provider performance analytics, semantic models, and Snowflake-based solutions. This position combines hands-on development, technical leadership, and stakeholder partnership, with exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, and enterprise data platforms.
