Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: Required certifications include RN, RRT or RCIS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with interventional radiology procedures is required. Candidates should be familiar with vascular embolization, port placement, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes. Teamwork is essential in this position. The patient population includes adults only. The facility is equipped with GE for fluoroscopy and is transitioning to a new system for hemodynamics. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. Staff will cover catheterization, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms, and tilt table tests.
