Job Title: Warehouse Picker (1st Shift) $16/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Picker for the 1st shift to join our team. You will be responsible for sorting boxes and arranging them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators. This role involves picking and packing products of various sizes, utilizing a lift for heavier items. You will also use an RF scanner and be responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers with completed pallets.

Responsibilities

• Sort and arrange boxes on the correct pick pallet.

• Pick and pack products ranging from handheld boxes to large machine parts.

• Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.

• Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.

Essential Skills

• Experience in picking and packing products.

• Proficiency in using RF scanners.

• Ability to operate lifting equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-6 months of warehouse experience.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Willingness to work mandatory overtime.

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a large, open parts distribution center located in Davenport, Iowa. The team is diverse, with an inclusive environment focused on achieving quality. The culture values meticulousness and attention to detail, as performance is measured by quality standards rather than productivity volume. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 1:30am, with expected overtime until 2am and occasional Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
