About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience required. License: Permanent RN license required. Certifications: BCLS certification required. Must-Have: - Charge experience required. - Patient ratio experience of 8 or more preferred. - Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR preferred. Description: This position involves working with patients experiencing thought disorders. The clinician may be required to float to any age population as needed. RNs may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift without additional pay for those hours. Travelers are expected to float to meet facility needs when scheduling requires. RTO (request time off) must be submitted with the initial profile. Candidates must pass a drug screen on the first try to continue with onboarding. The facility has strict policies regarding drug screening and will not accept failed results. All candidates must have their permanent RN license in hand at the time of submission. RNs should expect to work weekend shifts every other week. Participants in the hiring process will not be considered if they test positive for marijuana. All healthcare providers will complete modules during orientation and annually. Modules are recorded through the designated learning portal.
