• Full-time -- 40 hrs/week, no weekends, no holidays
• On-call up to 1 shift per 4-week period
• Long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
• Patients admitted directly from ICU -- highest severity of illness
• Daily assessment and intervention required for complex patients
• Interdisciplinary team environment focused on acute medical needs
• Intense clinical and therapeutic intervention -- 24-hour care model
