Program Manager

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-related occupation. Position requires 3 years of experience in the following areas: Project planning using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, including developing project charters, roadmaps, and risk registers. Developing and executing stakeholder communication plans for program goals, progress, and health. Driving organizational change management or change implementation using rollout plans and impact analysis. Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous process improvement or business process optimization. Program management in one of the following domains: contract negotiations, commercial agreements, content management, accounting, partner or vendor management, or forecasting. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000.00 - $189,000.00 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Position reports to the Google Atlanta, Georgia office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy. Responsibilities Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and design targeted communication plans to manage expectations and enable effective decision-making. Author comprehensive program charters and create detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, resources, and dependencies for advanced programs. Determine program phasing and key metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize resource stewardship throughout the program lifecycle. Establish program governance by defining data collection methods, maintaining project trackers, and leading team meetings to drive progress. Execute program tasks by proactively managing dependencies, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with core product values.
