Drs. Kaihara, Watkins and Wang of Smiles International are seeking a full time certified dental assistant. Our assistant has moved out of the area. We are a prosthodontic practice with two locations in McLean, VA and NW Washington, DC approximately 2 blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro and GW. We are searching for a dental assistant that is highly motivated, likes to be challenged and loves to improve their skills daily. We provide a great working environment that is clean, fresh and stimulating. We are a fee for service practice and value our employees. Most of our employees have been working with us for 10 or more years! Our assistants travel to each office with their doctor.
We are seeking a full time assistant with preferably 2 years experience. Prosthodontic or surgical experience with implants is a plus.
Experience with the fabrication of custom temporary crowns and bridges
Be able to assist with implant surgeries and restoring the implants
Understand the prosthodontic work flow
Ability to use a digital scanner/ CBCT
Reliable transportation and being punctual a must.

Familiar with Denticon software helpful
X-ray certification
DC dental assistants license or ability to obtain one
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:15am - 4:45pm and Fridays 7:15am -12:45pm.
