Senior Product ManagerAWS Private Pricing is one of the most strategically important commercial programs at Amazon Web Services — enabling enterprise customers to accelerate their cloud transformation through multi-year commitments in exchange for pricing value, expanded service access, and innovation opportunities. The program drives billions in committed revenue and shapes AWS's deepest, longest-lasting customer relationships. Private Pricing is now at an inflection point: we are expanding access beyond traditional enterprise segments, evolving the value proposition, and fundamentally reimagining the deal experience through automation and generative AI.The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization owns this program end-to-end. Within GDSP, the Private Pricing Product Management (3PM) team is responsible for the tools, platforms, and technology that power the Private Pricing experience for thousands of internal sellers and external customers globally.We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the product strategy for a critical domain within the Private Pricing platform. You will define the vision, build the roadmap, and deliver products that transform how AWS's largest deals are created, structured, and executed. This is a high-ambiguity, high-autonomy role where you will identify unsolved problems, make bets on where to invest, and influence engineering teams and VP-level leadership to bring your vision to life.Key job responsibilities:Define and own product strategy for your domain within the Private Pricing platform, translating ambiguous business problems into clear product vision and prioritized roadmapsDrive 0-to-1 product development — identify gaps in the customer and seller experience, validate hypotheses through data, and ship solutions that measurably improve outcomesInfluence without authority across GDSP and cross-organizational teams to secure resources, align priorities, and deliver at scaleLeverage data and generative AI to reimagine workflows — identifying where automation, ML, and Gen AI can eliminate friction and unlock new capabilitiesOwn the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through launch, adoption, and iterationCommunicate strategy and results to executive leadership through written narratives, using data to drive decisions and secure investmentEstablish scalable frameworks for prioritization, requirements documentation, and stakeholder alignment that elevate the entire product management functionBasic Qualifications:5+ years of technical product or program management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in a related fieldExperience managing analytics, data science or technology teams, with a product or insight focusExperience Experienced with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverablesExperience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisionsExperience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance), or experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersExperience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processingExperience in deal management and pricing strategy, or financial consultingBachelor's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketingExperience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions7+ years of successful technology products work from ideation through launch experience7+ years of workflow experienceKnowledge of AWS or cloud technologiesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
