Registered Nurse - Neurosurgery Progressive Care Unit - FT Nights

Role: Provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced, technical environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care. Ensure effective communication, build relationships, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment. Administer medications and IV therapy accurately and timely. Maintain comprehensive documentation and support patient and family education. Take initiative for professional growth and performance improvement. Adhere to hospital policies, standards, and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current licensure to practice nursing in Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as required. Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital procedures, policies, and confidentiality protocols. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Work Environment & Physical Demands: Includes standing, moving, bending, and handling materials, with exposure to blood and body fluids.
