Aviation Maintenance Technician

This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft Location: Maxwell AFB, AL Duration: 11 Months (Possible Extension) Work Schedule: 4x10s | 2nd Shift (Candidates must be available for all shifts; shift may change based on program needs) Overtime/Weekends: Limited OT; some weekends expected Security Clearance: Interim Secret Clearance required to start

Job Description

Maintain equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing, or upgrading components.
Troubleshoot to isolate and repair faulty components.
Conduct complex functional tests using equipment and proper test instruments.
Perform inspections of equipment maintenance documentation.
Accurately document all maintenance and inspection activities.
Train and assist less experienced technicians.
Work under general supervision.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience
Military background
Experience with M240 weapons maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with flare buckets

Education: High School Diploma or GED
